This policy explains what personal data Buska collects, why, and what rights you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.

1. Who we are

Buska is operated by brom.digital, the data controller, based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question or request, contact privacy@buska.co.uk.

2. What we collect

• Account data — your stage name, email address and a securely hashed password.
• Profile content — anything you publish on your page: bio, location, genres, images, links and embedded media.
• Booking enquiries — when someone sends you a booking request, we store the details they submit (name, email, phone, event date, location and message) so we can pass it to you.
• Technical data — basic server logs (such as IP address and request information) needed to operate the site securely.

3. How we use it

• to create and run your account and public page;
• to receive and deliver booking enquiries;
• to keep the service secure and prevent abuse and spam;
• to respond to your messages and support requests.

4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)

We rely on: contract (to provide the service you sign up for), legitimate interests (to keep the service secure and improve it), and consent where it applies (for example any future optional communications).

5. Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Sharing your data

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run Buska (such as hosting and database providers), who process it on our instructions. Booking-enquiry details you submit are shared with the performer you’re contacting.

7. Keeping it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile and associated bookings, except where we must keep limited records to meet legal obligations.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@buska.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

Buska isn’t intended for anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you where appropriate.
